What Travel Has Taught Me About Perspective

A way of shifting your perspective, expanding your mindset and remembering what matters.

Some of my clearest thinking has happened far from my desk — on a quiet beach, walking an unfamiliar street, or watching the sun set somewhere new.

Travel reminds me how big the world is and how many ways there are to live a good life. It strips away routine and makes me notice things again: kindness from strangers, the rhythm of a different culture, the value of slowing down.

It has also made me a better business owner. Seeing how others solve everyday problems sparks ideas, and stepping away gives me the distance to see my own challenges more honestly.

You don’t need a long trip to benefit. Even a weekend somewhere new can reset your perspective and remind you what you’re working toward in the first place.
