Starting From the Ground Up
Reflections on my early days as an entrepreneur.

My first business started with very little: a clear idea, a lot of determination and the willingness to learn everything as I went.
I made plenty of mistakes — pricing too low, saying yes too often, trying to do everything myself. Each one taught me something essential.
What carried me through was relationships. Mentors, early clients and friends who believed in me before there was much to believe in.
If you’re just beginning, know that everyone starts somewhere. Progress over perfection is what builds momentum.
